ModernMasters Fine Art assists collectors who wish to sell their art in two ways. First, and most often, we purchase from private collections artwork created by the artists whose works we carry. A collector wishing to offer a work for sale to MMFA will be asked to provide information and any documentation about the work's provenance and digital photos of the work, forso and verso. A personal examination may be required thereafter.

Second, MMFA may agree to sell a collector's work on consignment. This is the exception and not the rule. Before MMFA will agree to sell a work in this fashion, documentation about the work's provenance and a personal inspection of the work are required. Authentication by the relevant authenticating body may be a prerequisite to accepting a work on consignment.
